Agent enters details onto TRACES

TSO/Agent transfers consignment to BIP

Health Certificates etc. documents lodged with BIP

BIP inspect consignment and pass/fail for entry

BIP completes CVED on Traces as appropriate

HMRC release given for pass consignments

Rejected consignments receive Regulation 21 Notice 

If pass, importer/agent collects consignment from TSO

If fail, BIP arranges for destruction or re-export
