Cleaning of Animal Transport Vehicles, Stalls and Boxes
The cleaning of the BIP facilities is the responsibility of the BIP
staff.
Vehicles collecting animals from the BIP must be clean and appropriately
constructed for the type of animals to be transported.
The BIP may clean vehicle interiors, animal containers and other
associated equipment on a recharge basis.
Only DEFRA approved disinfectants may be used.
Stansted Airport Ltd and Stansted Airport Limited Byelaws
The ground handling agents and other users of the BIP facilities for the
inspection and clearance of consignments of animals shall be responsible for
ensuring that the appropriate byelaws are complied with at all times.
Copies of the byelaws are obtainable on request.
